Do You Think Da'Norris Searcy Will be Cut

OK, if (And it's a BIG IF) we could & WOULD sign Berry I would be fine with cutting Searcy to get it done. Berry is too good to pass on to keep Searcy. However, it is just NOT going to happen IMO. KC would be stupid for letting him walk. The entire team speaks to him being the heart of their defense. Second; we are not a team that spends THAT kind of money on one player in FA. It could happen I guess; just VERY unlikely.

I would be VERY happy & excited to see Berry in TN. I just do not see it happening.

Searcy is a solid starter. No reason to cut him. He really needs improved talent around him. Even Berry would struggle with the cast that Searcy has been playing with.......Many are suggesting cutting Searcy because they see that $6.7 Million by his name. Put some much better CBs in the secondary & everyone back there is going to look better. There is no reason to cut a guy who just needs better talent around him.

McCourty on the other hand is due $7 Million, has played bad; and been injured multiple times recently. Age has caught up with him. He was never a big play maker. He was a solid tackler tho. Now, he is starting to get beat deep & missing tackles. I think he could easily be replaced with a FA that costs less, and not be missed. Just my opinion.
