Yeah you do have to put some thought into it and you can make a case for multiple guys. Whens the last time we could honestly say that?

I wouldn't go as far as saying Blake was the reason we went 9-7, but he certainly was a good add too. He would have gotten more recognition from people (myself included) if our secondary played better.

I wouldn't mind having him back next year.

I think he was being sarcastic. Blake was terrible. Maybe he played well on special team, I honestly didn't notice him, but even still, he shouldn't be on the defensive side of the ball. Awful.

Conklin or Jones are the only contenders for me. The line went from terrible to arguably the NFL's best unit. Murray doesn't have the year he did without that line.

    Who the hell answered Sharpe?

The center is the heart and soul of the offensive line. What could be better than allowing a division rival to draft a player, train him for four years, and let us have him. I think Ben Jones quietly proved to be the glue that pulled our your linemen together.

Blake was a big reason we went 9-7

    Without him we are 11-5

I had to go with Rishard Matthews. We haven't had an option other than Delanie in a while. He gave Marcus another option and I think he's the main reason Marcus' deep ball improved so much. Will be legit when we have Matthews on one side and Mike Williams on the other with Sharpe in the slot and Delanie down the seam. Will be dangerous.

    Lot of good options.
I voted Murray but I think Jones/Conk/Matthews all deserve serious consideration.

I think Murray still would have been a top performer without Jones and Conk. Maybe not #3, but I think he would have still had a really good season, Jones and Conk just made it better.

Matthews was great over a long stretch, I would argue him over Murray if he was able to do that all year long. Those first couple weeks may have even resulted in a couple more wins.

I like the JR nominations too.
