You're right, Tennessee should have signed you as a GM, since you know how it all works. We'd be in the SB!

First off, how do you know he didn't try to get Schwartz? He was coming from Cleveland, maybe he actually wanted to go to a winning team if they were willing to pay him. They actually get a say as to where they go, FYI.

Secondly, why on earth would Jacksonville trade a pick which would acquire potentially the best player in the draft to their division rival? We could have offered the house, it didn't matter. Ramsey was their guy.

    From the first pick site....

If you trade down just a few spots with both picks things get really interesting. Traded the #5 pick twice but only moved to 8. I know this can't really happen, but hey, it's fun....

I tried to keep mine realistic. I limited it to an initial trade down. I then traded back up for Peppers. Similar to last year's draft.

Yes, they should have signed me as GM over Ruston Webster! I do know how it all works. It's not THAT complicated.

I know we didn't try to get Schwartz because he was gonna re-sign with Cleveland due to lack of teams pursuing but that deal fell thru so he basically took the only offer (and a low one at that based on expectations) he had. If he was willing to go back to play for the worst team in the league, he would have come here for a decent contract!

Free agents get a say in where they go? Really??????

Why would any team trade out of a pick? It has an obvious answer. Give it a shot.

And if Ramsey was clearly the best player in the draft, how come he was the 3rd non-QB drafted AND didn't have as good a year as either???

Bingo. Ramsey came on late...but he did jack squat early on.....I legit don't understand why people are butt hurt over our draft. ESPECIALLY after Ruston Webster's BS for years.

That sight is fun if totally unrealistick! The 4th pick in the draft was Pocic!

I did a lot of trading...basically following the philosophy if they gave me a better deal and I had a range of players, I took the trade down just to see how many picks I'd get and what I'd end up with. This was my first crack at it...

    Round Pick Position Player Name

    1 18 WR Corey Davis
    1 23 CB Marshon Lattimore
    2 1 TE OJ Howard
    2 8 WR Dede Westbrook
    2 11 OLB Ryan Anderson
    2 23 CB Adoree Jackson
    3 5 CB Jourdain Lewis
    3 8 S Eddie Jackson
    3 19 OG Dorian Johnson
    3 28 ILB Anthony Walker
    4 18 TE Jake Butt
    4 27 WR Ryan Switzer
    5 20 ILB Jalen Reeves-Maybin
    5 26 OT Dan Skipper
    6 28 ILB Ben Boulware
    7 18 WR Travin Dural
    7 30 S Jonathan Ford

I think this is a great draft with 11-12 starters/returners/key backups. We address our biggest deficiencies with Davis, Westbrook and Switzer addressing the WR Corp. Davis can be a #1, Westbrook is a speed burner, and Switzer is a talented slot mismatch. Both Westbrook and Switzer would add to STs as well by taking over kr and or duties!

Like WR, our CB position is upgraded with Lattimore, Adoree, and Lewis. Lattimore can start right away. Lewis can be a nickel at worst right away. Jackson has great upside and can be a devastating returner as we figure out what and where to play him.

We also add a starting caliber S in Eddie Jackson who also could compete at CB depending on what we need and where we see him going forward.

Perhaps the steal and future devastation from this draft are the combo of OJ Howard and Jake Butt. We have set the stage for mismatches all across the field with our combo of WRs and TEs and have sufficiently surrounded Mariota with weapons now and into the future!

Aside from boosting the secondary, we have also upgraded ILB with Walker, Reeves-Maybin, and Boulware! I also added a potential starting OG in Johnson and backup OT in Skipper. Players like Boulware, Reeves-Maybin, Jackson, Walker, Lewis, Dural, and Ford should seriously improve our ST coverage teams while Jackson, Westbrook, Switzer gives us several great returner options!!!

Of course, everything about this draft is unrealistic, but still fun!
