I will go ahead and plug the place. Very eclectic tap selection and zero bottles of beer. Some wine. Some of the taps are local some national but zero gas station beer ( bud light, Coors ect )

The menu is limited and, IMO, revolves around the Soup of the day as prepared by Mrs Green Dragon ( I dont remember her name but she is the owners wife ). Some of them are amazing, some not my thing, but there is one SotD and a Tomato Basil soup that is constant. Other selections are more sandwich things.

Joe, the owner, is pretty real close to opening the brewery side of the business. I dont have pictures but he is paperwork away from brewing his 'award winning brown ale'. Not my favorite thing but its allright ( think Newcastle ).

The point of this post is the clientele. I am not the normal customer. I mostly go to Old Chicago to have a beer ( have a mug with my name on it there as well - LOL ). The typical patron of GDPH is an MTSU faculty member who arrives in the afternoon and camps out thru the evening with his other hoity toity buddies from campus. Whatever their money is green.

As an investment I have my doubts about ever seeing a profit or anything for that matter. But who knows... possibly Joes Brown Ale is the bomb and that crap goes national blah blah blah.... I am not very concerned about it. Just enjoy stopping by every now and then and getting a bowl of soup and a mug of beer that I can get nowhere else in town.
