Lol, was it Alexander who was there at #33? I thought I remembered there was some CB I was interested in taking.

    Yes.

Althoguh I liked Kendall Fuller who actually slid into the thirds.

Haven't seen much of Alexander and Fuller has started the year kinda slow from what I remember. Rookie CBs can take a while. Alexander supposedly looked good in preseason according to PFF but the vikings have some great players in front of him.

Pretty unbelievable how Matiota has improved in just about every stat category. The beginning of the year was rough no doubt. his overall numbers dont completely justify just how well he has made strides in his game. Surprisingly he has less fumbles and ints through 12 games as well.

Without the blunders in the first few games, he would have blown 2015 out of the water stat wise. I think that is part of the improvement he's made in 16, he fought through a couple of rough games and caught fire. He looks more confident and comfortable out there. The deep ball has come a long way. Learning to throw it away and live another down when need be.

There has been a lot that has helped him along the way. Better running game, o-line, reciever play etc. Through 12 games he's been sacked 18 times compared to 38 last year. He's not running for his life or nervous every time he drops back. Even when there is pressure, he seems more calm and collected than last year when he tended to get jumpy when pressure got near.

Overall, he's just improved and continues to improve. I think he will keep working and get better and better as he matures.

Finally have us a QB in Tennessee!

Better protection. Better run game. Better WR in Matthews (as of the last few weeks).

Mainly, the first two. Defenses dare him to go downfield and he's shown he can make some throws he struggled with earlier in the season.

I was on Jason Michael earlier in the season for some of the stupid things Mariota kept repeating so have to give him some credit now. It's amazing how much taking better care of the football does for passer rating.

And, IMO, he's feasted on some pretty soft or mediocre defenses. We'll know a lot more about where he is over the next two weeks.

Yea like you said, hes taking care of the ball and getting better every week

He's shown he understands how bad turnovers hurt the team

Throwing it away and living to see another down isn't always easy to accept for these QBs.
