Murray is a workhorse and the better RB, no doubt.

But I think he (or any RB) tires in the fourth quarter if they've taken 15 carries/2-3 receptions.

I'm sure he doesn't want to come out but I'd rather have a fresher Murray late in the game (and season) and give Henry 6-8 carries/receptions a game.

Otherwise, the Titans sure could have used that pick at CB/WR.

I know that lol. That's what my other post was saying. They utilize different types of backs to maximize situations. Henry and Murray are near similar. Other then short yardage situations where Henry's weight provides benefit, Murray is the better option in all situations other then when he's exhausted.

David Johnson is a prime example of this. He excels in all parts of the game.

Ok...fair enough but I would say that truthfully we really don't know what Henry really is yet do we?

Yeah we have no clue, he could be better for sure. Problem is do you wanna take that risk to find out and interrupt a 4.6YPC back who is currently arguably the 2nd best in the league ATM? I think Murray is the option until he turns average.

Don't want to replace Murray...but like many I don't see why the "braintrusts" can't figure out a way to get Henry 10 touches or so a game .... a change of pace if nothing else...

Only on a Titans forum does someone take giving Henry FIFTEEN (15) carries a game some how makes Demarco less valuable.... but if that fits your agenda run with it.

None of us can tell the future, but at his current carry rate, what kind of condition is he going to be in games 12-16? Sharing the loads some could help him even more. Take away a few of those 2 yard pass plays and turn them into 4 yard Henry runs and a few of Demarco carries and Henry has 15 touches a game without impacting Murray's rhythm.

Yeah they do it with Casey so they get the concept. I assume they don't notice a loss of YPC late in games. I agree he's getting too few carries but I would never give him over 10 unless we have tons of 3rd and 2.

My agenda has both on the field. I'll do a write up tonight of what I believe our optimal offence should look like

ATL does a good job mixing Freeman and Coleman and they're similar backs. I think giving Henry the ball a little more does 2 things, let us see a little of the future and give Murray a real chance to finish the season healthy.
