Is firing Mularkey during the season a bad idea?

I think there's a strong chance Mularkey isn't back next season.

 

Outside of like 4, maybe 5, Titan fans, no one in the league thinks Mularkey is HC material.

 

He was a great QB. That doesn't make him a great coach. Sure he could probably design a playbook and do efficient film breakdown. But can he coach? Can he explain his ideas and thoughts, can he get the players to buy-in? We don't know, because he hasn't coached at any level.

Remember Bruce Matthews is a HoF offensive lineman, but he sucks at coaching it.

 

He'd make a great coach/ motivator

 

It's stupid because it has been 4 games and they are not going to fire him during the season. New coach with new GM, new staff, low talent roster (as everyone here points out).....new start for the franchise is the phrase that has been used. You don't fire the new coach during his first season with all of those things going on. 4 games people. Calm down.

Sure.....then fire the coach after 4-5 games so Marcus can have his 3rd coach in 2 years. Hell, get an interim then hire another coach for 2017 so he can have 4 in 3 years.

Yes bad idea. It's not like you'll improve with an interim coach. Might as well stick it out with MM until the end of the season to fire him. They'll give him one more season unless **** goes down hill from here on out.

I think what hurt Whiz was alot of players wasn't all-in with his coaching. Seems like everyone loves MM tho.

 

You think wrong. Go sit in the corner with Meekmode, ICBW and Tweezy. There is much more wrong right now than the coach. You are simpleminded if you think firing a coach fixes the problems we have.

 

If a new coach can make MM complete a 5 yard pass then let's go!
