I think Dodd will be fine long term....Just going to take some time. Some players adjust quicker than others, and foot injuries take a while to recover from fully.

 

That's the way it works. Even the best GMs and coaches will miss out on players quite often. Even so, it's way too early to criticize them for a 2nd round selection on a guy playing rotational duties.

 

I don't see it that way. I didn't like the puck at the time and guy hasn't done much. #33 overall pick too much to give for that little production. We're talking zilch in his last games.

 

If he gets over it. Stress fracture requiring screws more indicative of chronic conditions of stress exceeding functional capacity.

Honestly, I'm kinda bummed about Casey this year. Not sure if he's being double teamed all the time or not, but he's looked average this year.

 

Not really. Just trying to get fans to raise their expectations and standards of acceptable performance in hopes that will prompt some results. Because what we're doing isn't working.

Probably right. I'm just tired of hearing rationalization of poor results. Hard for me to not believe the tolerant but hopeful comments are contributing to the status quo. Especially since I've heard the same sentiments each year for the past twelve years. The Dodd pick was a bad pick until he produces.

 

so by moaning and groaning online you expect that to raise the standard?

probably do a lot better by reaching out to someone within the organization, thats what I woudl do as a season ticket holder (which I am not BTW), but the STH are the only ones that matter, if anyone here matters
