We, the D, didn't hold him at all...any stops were self inflicted wounds...luck missed quite a few open throws...

The real problem we have is we are going to have to use our first draft pick for a WR, because no FA is going to come here with MM as QB. He is so limited as to the type of pass he can throw. So instead of getting a CB, we have to try and figure out which WR from college is a "Can't miss".

We had a WR pick us over the Pats last season.

Free agents will follow the money. We need a FA WR. We dont have the time to wait for a WR to out it all together.

Not sure I get your reply, but this is the issue. MM missed several wide open receivers yesterday. This guy has been playing QB half his life. What part of missing a guy on a 5 yard route and throwing it over his head are you going to "develop"? It was a mistake taking this kind of guy from a system like he was in. I get that. But isn't he supposed to have SOME kind of skill set to complete passes? Do you not believe that Cassel or Tanney could not have completed more passes yesterday? There are very few throws he makes that make me go - wow, no wonder we drafted him #2. His main asset is being decisive in the red zone (although both guys were wide open yesterday) and running. The downsides are far worse. We aren't going anywhere with this guy unless he shows major improvement. Every week our new offense gets harder to run, because DC's are wise to it and him. Can you imagine how bad we would be if we didn't have a running game?

Yeah, if he went to NE he would actually have to work. It would also be good to get one under 30 years old.

The real problem is the type of WR that the Titans need (as a rule) do not hit free agency. Teams generally do not let number 1 receivers walk out the door.

We need grab two starters on defense in FA and focus on finding a number 1 reciever in the draft.

The offense gave our defense a 3-point lead late in the game. They choked.

    I don't know why I bother.

LOL thats the perfect response you posted! Utterly ridiculous. I think the real response he should have said was, "no FA would want to come here because no one wants to play for Mularkey and Robiskie as the OC."
