Demote Robiskie

I don't hate the DGB trade...On paper it's ugly, but he is still putting up 3 catch games even in Philly. I do criticize our play calling and Marcus's play up to date. WE look like a team that can't move the damn ball...Just like last year, which is complete opposite of our pre-season. Marcus has little confidence nor do we as fans. Our line is playing plenty good enough, and now we have guys that can't separate or catch the ball....Something has to give.

 

I know the point you were making. The stats don't tell the whole story, but in this case, the stats make the D look good so that is a good thing. Got to it while we can. Lol

Poor tackling has been a real killer. There have been a big play here and there through the air but mostly piss poor tackling has resulted in bigger plays than anything. This team hasnt been able to tackle in years. It's crazy that with new coaches, players and coordinators, the same problems still occur on this team year after year. Cursed, I tell ya...

 

The plays are still the ones designed by Mularkey/Robiskie. It likely has more to do with the defenses having to play more vanilla when they don't have time to get calls and substitutions and therefore making it easier for Mariota.
