Belichick had a similar record of failure with the browns....how has that worked out?

I guess we should just hold out for Mularkey to turn his fortunes around...

Mike Mularkey 'very confident' Titans use best scheme for Marcus Mariota

Wow. Says his scheme will work if his players just don't make mental mistakes. Huh? His scheme is such a dummy down version the D's shorten the field for it.

And he just glosses over that the O moves the ball 80 yards in a minute in the no huddle.

A 10 year old knows his scheme sucks. And we have no deep threat or possession WR. Although I'm not a fan of dumb and soft, we should have kept DGB or Hunter just to run a few SLGO routes to open up some underneath stuff.

All this shifting doesn't fool anybody when the ball exchange only occurs within 10 yards. Exotic mushmouth dumb for real.

And I'm confident Mariota is turning the hall over more with this scheme.

I am no way an advocate for Mike Mularkey. But to justify McDaniels because of Belichick past coaching experience is extremely asinine. You must take the given facts for each individual person. He destroyed the Denver Broncos. I give it to him that he was young and inexperience, but I see the same egotistical tendencies of Whisenhunt. Our team is not in the position to operate that type of offense today. I'm not saying Mariota wouldn't excel in it, but we do not have the receivers for it to work. You leave the edge wide open and risk Mariota getting hurt again, just like what happened when Whisenhunt was the coach.

    1. Have our receivers shown any type of separation this year?
    2. What happened when Whisenhunt spread our offense out last year?

McDaniels offense is based on quick, precise routes. Sharpe isn't even running the right depths right now and he is our best receiver. The Raiders sat on all our short routes and Mariota got exposed. Our wide receivers can't get separation, can't complete any deep passes, have two running backs built for a power offense. So please tell me how he would benefit us in any way.
