I agree us and the Jags improved. I think Houston pretty much stayed the same and Indy actually got worse. All that said, Jax had the Offense last year and added some good talent on D including (basically) 2 first rounders which is why I think they win the division. The Texans didn't really improve and may have taken a step back with QB, but because of their D, I think they're next in line.
The bottom is kind of a crap shoot. Titans did a lot that I'm happy about and they seem to be making things work at least offensively, but to improve from 3-13 to division winners is tough and I don't think the Titans made a 6-7 game improvement, I still see about a 6-10/7-9 season. The Colts have gotten worse and like it was pointed out, Luck is all they have so I think they will be fighting for the basement, maybe 5-11/6-10 also.

The Texans offense will be horrid. Their defense will be ok. But Watt is now dealing with true injuries for the first time and it will slow him down. They aren't that great a team.

How many wins do you think it will take to win the division? 9? 10?

What 9 or 10 games do you think you're going to win?

I'll be nice & say you split games with us (Texans) & the Colts. Sounds like you think the Jags are the bees knees, but let's say you split with them as well. So that's 3 games. Where are the other 6 or 7 games you're going to win.

& take a look at what Blake Bortles does when he plays the Texans. I'd expect more of the same. Mark my words, Texans will sweep the Jags

While we have made some progress, I don't see us as a worst to first candidate. Mularkey is still our coach and I don't care how erotic our smashmouth is...

    I say ..

    1. Jacksonville. I think it's their division for the next two to three years. Good young talent that they can keep together.

    2. Houston- Lamar Miller will help them. Some top talent.

    3. Indy- they are just awful on both lines. Luck alone gives them third in the division.

    4. Titans- Bad D, Bad WRs...overrating the Run game effect. Good news is the future LA pick.

Just so everyone is clear every AFC south team/forum is saying they're the best right now lol.

Ignoring us I think I'd go Texans/Jags/Colts. Jags D is almost there and I think in a year they'll be the team to beat. Colts GM and organization is horrible and they suck at building teams. Right now Texans combination of D and WR1/RB is pretty good. Osweiler will be a capable game manager.

Split the AFC games gives us 4 wins, as you said. Following wins could come from @Lions, vRaiders, @Dolphins, vBrowns, @Chargers, @Bears. That puts us at 10-6. All the AFC South matchups are a toss-up, could easily see us getting swept by Team X, or sweeping Team Y, etc.

Will have very tough games vs Minny to start the season at home. I'll be there as good luck, but I have a feeling AP will run for 120+ and their defense is LEGIT. Also have GB/DEN at home, which will be extremely tough, and KC at Arrowhead. Those 4 games I put our odds at slim to none. The remaining 12 are winnable. Not saying we will win them, but there's absolutely a chance.

A division split is only 3 wins.
I think the 6 other teams you listed are winnable games, but I don't think the Titans are good enough to win all of them. I want to see a home field advantage come back to Tennessee but 4 of those 6 are on the road. Not a good track record against SD and Miami just spanked the Titans last year.
I guess I need to see it to believe it. I still think a 6 win season is a good improvement knowing the roster still needs a lot of work.
