2015 Titans Achilles heel: Right Tackle

It appears to me that we are light at the center position too

 

Left tackle... GOOD
Right guard... maybe solid... maybe
Everything else... god help us and Mariota

 

CB or depending what DGB does , could be WR

 

I'd say so. CB is the biggest hole imo. It could be WR, but it better not be.

 

Hopefully the DL can cover our CB's asses.

 

We had a probowl secondary one season... which coincided with a great DL. The next year with a weaker DL... secondary was exposed.

 

Ever since they made rules that defenders can't touch receivers, correct me if i'm wrong, but every single dominent secondary has had an amazing front seven. Even the 'almighty' LOB was exposed when their rush went sour.... Its 1+1.

Right now, I'd vote WR... Or possibly QB. And please hear me out...

WR because after a decade and half, albeit I like our lot, they still only have 'potential' - which for me is absolutely nothing. I loathe that word and it means nothing to me. I want a Megatron, a Dez, a Brown, etc... A TRUE number 1, reliable playmaker do-it-all type guy.

Then... I'd vote QB... B/c after watching Cam, Brady, etc... work with 'nobodies' shows me that, yup, its still all about the QB...

And I'm HUGE on MM, I think he's the real deal and that we finally found our guy, please don't get me wrong. But I guess until he 'becomes Elite', that will forever be our team's (and any teams') biggest need.

Coaches and play callers are hella-important as well, much more so than any single postitional deficiency (...bar QB. They can can cover up bad and uninspiring coaching).

 

I still say CB and WR as the concerns to me. We still need that #1 WR and I just can't see DGB being that guy. He's still mentally not getting it according to reports from training camp. We lost games due to giving up late leads and it was because our DBs get getting roasted. I still think we need better guys there.
