Potential sleepers this year?

    Which players this year on the Titans do y'all feel are running under the radar so far that have the potential to make an impact this year?. Mine would be-

    Cody Riggs
    Kalen Reed
    Kevin Byrad
    Aaron Wallace
    Austin Johnson

    Its really hard to find guys other than rookies that have the potential to do greater things than we would expect but I find Cody Riggs as a guy that should definatly be in the conversation for starting nickel CB along with Reed as the #2 behind Mccourty. I mean there is nothing else Cox nor McCain can show this far into their careers that shows they can be an impactful starting CB. Reed possesses everything you would want in a starting outside CB. I rooting for these guys in training camp and preseason. I don't want to see pos handed to guys because of their experience.


    Kevin Byrad sounds every bit like a playmaking FS Lebaeu can groom. Very smart and instinctive are very hard traits to teach. Byrad already possesses them. I wouldn't be surprised if he leads them team in ints if given the opportunity.

    Aaron Wallace and Austin Johnson or some guys I'm not hearing much about but I think Johnson is our most disruptive NT on the roster right now and has way more potential than woods and hill. Wallace is a bit of a freak athlete that I hope gets on the field more often especially on passing downs. I think he could be the best coverage LB on the roster.

    Imo Riggs is the last name I'd list here

    But guys I do like to breakout would include Morgan DGB and Henry

    And maybe Dodd flashes signs of being special

    I expect Mariota to be good of course but everyone expects that. And of course I belive in our rookie RT Conklin to play well

    Its crazy to think about the amount of potential at each position for that breakout star
    Qb-Mariota
    RB-Henry
    Wr-Beckham
    DT-Johnson
    OLB-Morgan,Dodd
    CB-Reed
    FS-Byrad

    All possess the capabilities of being an all pro this league..Hopefully 2 or 3 steps up to the plate.

    I'll be excited if any Titans get recognized at the NFL level, not just here. Casey and Mariota are the only two that really got recognition at that level so far.
    Outside of that, I'd like to see Henry break out for 2 reasons.
    A. Murray doesn't have many years left.
    B. To see if DW admits he was wrong.

    You mean all haven't had the chance to F up yet. Seriously you just listed 5 rookies and 2 sophomores. Every team in the league can say that.

    Seriously:

    I expect Daquan Jones to keep improving and pushing to above average DE. Mostly run D though.

    I bet Warmack gets off his fat ass and breaks out to get a good contract somewhere else.

    I think Perrish Cox and Searcy will both play good and show their worth.

    After the McBride hype died down I think I can say that Cody Riggs is now the most overhyped player on the team. Guy had a couple flashes-- but was still pretty bad. Not sure why people are expecting much out of him. If he makes the team I'd consider that a win for him...
