Hi all. My family and I will be visiting Nashville for opening day in September. I will be spending a few days in Nashville and was hoping to get a locals guide to some can't miss sites. I had a few questions.

    1. My kids are both under 14 years old. Will they still have fun if we take them to Music Row? They both like country music but I don't know if they can get into any bars/clubs to listen to any live music during the day.
    2. Is Eddie George's Grill still open? I would like to visit.
    3. Any other can't miss, unique Nashville restaurants anyone can recommend.

Any help we can get would be appreciated. I have not been to Nashville in 12 years. My kids have never been and I want to show them a good time. Thank you Titans Community.

Eddie George's Grille is in Columbus, unless he has another in Nashville although I don't think he does. Also don't go there, it's not great lol

There is (or was) an Eddie George grill inside the Hilton - downtown Nashville.
It was just another sports bar pretty much though..

And Music Row is a ten minute car ride thru some boring houses and businesses. No kid will stay awake for that. There are some cool things there for die-hard Nashville history fans but beyond that it's not epic at all..

Unless if you actually mean Lower Broadway - which really is for older kids - the drinking type.. LOTS of people walking around and music..

I think by Music Row you mean Broadway?

It'd still be a fairly safe time for kids. Some bar/restaurants they could go in. There are usually events happening around that area and riverfront, pedestrian bridge, etc.

But Music Row is basically just buildings, as Cruds said. Not much there other than offices and old studios.

It's really hard to suggest things to do in this town that aren't a bar.

Opry Hotel is cool to walk around in.

and then the mall/theater/ is there if you're just looking for more casual/less unique things to get into.
