I ain't mad at you for it. That's the game. I don't think NFL gms feel bad or anything when they get a steal of a trade. It's really on me for not thinking it through and making the good decision.

 

I think you could've dropped one of those 2nds from the deal and RSB probably still would've taken it. But you got that 2017 1st and it all really hinges on what Freeman does this year anyway. I don't see him finishing with the same kind of numbers again. It certainly wasn't a terrible trade. I'm just not too high on Adams.

 

I don't feel bad about getting Freeman for pennies then trading him back for his own first.

 

I probably could have, and I'm not super high on Adams, but I was looking for a WR to pair with Roger's. Cobb and Nelson have too high of a price.

That thought crossed my mind, but then I thought nah gotta focus on what's in the best interest in my team.

There have been times where I've turned down trades that were just ridiculously stacked in my favor because it was essentially cheating. Last year a friend offered me Bell (before he died), AJ Green and another stud all for CJ and somebody else average. Turned it down.

This one wasn't so bad to the point I felt I needed to reject it... But I definitely knew I was getting the much better end of the deal.

Not at all. All you did was accept a trade that was offered.

Looking at his roster though, yeah, I probably would've felt bad and thrown something else in to make it a little more fair. If you had pulled off this trade against a really good team it'd be a little different. But this trade only further crippled by far the weakest team in the league.

It's all good though. I think we're gonna roll with the new veto system Ensc proposed so this should be the last blatantly unfair trade that goes down in this league.

 

I mean I got a 2nd, 3rd and future 1st for Jimmy G once upon a time so I can't really say much.

It's just getting to the point where a few teams are really starting to fall way behind, talent-wise. So something needs to be done. But this fantasy game can be fickle and fortunes can change in a hurry. Still, we probably need to end this unspoken "anything goes" trade agreement we've collectively had the past few years.

 

Yea I was just messing with you... That's honorable of you. I'm a pretty honorable guy myself, but I guess not to that extent. Lol

And hey, I'm all for a veto system. But I hope it's not abused like it is in standard leagues. Almost every time I pull off a trade in a standard league it gets vetoed. Makes me not even attempt a trade because it always ends up being a waste of time.

I was complaining about how unfair some of the trades were from the start, wanting to veto them. When I found out that wasn't going to happen, I had to take advantage of the system.
