You can tear a meniscus and not need surgery?

They're saying it could be AS LITTLE as 4-6 weeks or AS LONG as 4-6 months. The latter would definitely cut into the regular season. The second opinion will reveal the truth.

Well I thought they were dumb to take Fowler to begin with. I had a bad feeling about Fowler. Thought he and White had the most bust potential of the top picks... Sure enough they were the biggest two busts (so far) of the top 10, I believe.

I would've taken Cooper or Williams if I were in their shoes. Their WR corps with Cooper might have been too good though... Robinson/Hurns is already one of the best duos.

Depends on the kind of tear.

A small tear on the outside of the cartilage might not need repairing. If the knee is stable and there are not lasting symptoms surgery isn't necessary.

Really depends on the orthopedic specialist and his/her train of thought. That's why second opinions are sought out. I know some orthopedic specialists that think surgery is necessary for every little tear. Some will recommend physical therapy first.

Since he is a performance athlete they might just go ahead and elect to get the surgery anyway so they don't have to worry about it in the future.

Getting injured is way different than "busting" though. Sure they technically busted that year but they could both go on to have great careers.
