Preds 2016 thread. Blockbuster trade

Embarrassing

 

I could see it coming a mile away. This whole series, the Preds got trounced in San Jose.

Weber is highly overrated. Always was.

Ribeiro, Johansen and co were pretty much no shows most of the entire playoffs. Fisher was the best player offensively, and he is a 3rd liner.

Overall, not upset. They weren't supposed to get past the first round. And I credit the Ducks yearly choke for us getting into round 2 at all.

Nothing about this team tells me that they are they type that can put it together for a long playoff run. Not with such inconsistency.

It's clear that the Sharks are the better team. They killed us in their wins, we stole the victories from them.

Still the best playoff season in Preds history. Something to build on, I hope.

 

@RavensShallBurn Well i can always root for the Preds in the finals next year i guess.

 

I wasn't at all guaranteeing we'd win. I knew SJ had the edge, but I thought we'd actually show up and it'd be a one goal game that came down to the wire.

Was just trying to give a vow of confidence. If only the Preds could've had the same attitude...

 

I think the winner of STL/SJ will win it all.

And I think that's the Sharks.

 

At least we have the Titans to fall back on now!

 

We will see.

 

I'm only going to pay attention to them if they put up a few wins in the first few weeks. They have to re-earn my attention with so much going on in life. Wasted enough time on them the past 16 years.

 

better start 2016 with a HOME W - period!
