Everywhere I look somebody is saying this guy is underrated. Plays in the 3/4, what am I missing about him?
Dude, he look like freaking Rudy man. All fun, feel good story of training camp, "hes the soul of the team" the underrated little white dude, earns a spot on special teams. First kickoff, running down, BAM. Paralyzed. The dream is over. John Robinson starts drinking. The dismantling of a franchise by drafting Rudy Rudiger part 2.
Good, productive college player, but he's small. He'd get monstered as a 3-4 OLB. He could maybe play WILL. ...and try real hard on special teams.
Wisconsin guy here. I loved Schobert in a Badger uniform, but as others have already stated, he's undersized and not very athletic. He makes up for that with effort though. He made plays all over the field in college, but I don't see him as more than a rotational guy at the next level who gives max effort on every play. His ceiling is solid starter. I don't see him being anything more than that.
