I am trying not to get my hopes up, but I just can't wait to maybe have a back like Eddie again. Those were the days.

You can actually make very surface comparisons between Eddie and Henry, and mm8 and mc9. Both mobile.

    Conklin and Stewart.

Now get us a wycheck, role, and bullock and we are set!

I would have gone a different route, but I don't hate it overall. I guess.

Dodd is a Derrick Morgan type player. I think Austin Johnson will be a beast. Conklin, we've talked about. Henry is kind of a freebie with the trade, he is a character guy and he definitely has an upside.

Don't know about the safety. At that point would have liked Fuller or Redmond.

Wish we could trade up today to get Brothers.

I see exactly what JR is doing in this draft. He's trying to fix the loser locker room culture with this team, a common theme with our draftees is attitude, willingness to play, and work ethic. These guys compliment our three hardest working players, in Casey, walker, and Mariota.

These guys don't just have skills, but they got the drive to play AND win games. Conklin, Henry, and Byard all have a chip on their shoulder to prove themselves, Conklin is a self made man, Henry has something to prove since he wasn't picked in the first, and Byard comes from a small school in a state that craps orange.

I'm personally sick, and tired of seeing no effort from this team, and it's been going on for more than just the past two seasons. And I'm also tired of seeing potentially good players leave us to do better elsewhere. Hell, this attitude problem stretches back even to Fish
    face!

That's where Robinson is making his difference. And I like it.

Too early to judge, but if we don't have any of these guys starting in 3-4 years you'll know it was bad.

They don't have to be all pro or pro bowl caliber players, but the least you expect from a top 100 draft pick is to start. I hope they all pan out, but at least they aren't as risky as druggies or injuries.

Maybe I wouldn't of hated the picks so much in a normal draft that didn't have good depth...or if we didn't have so many holes. It's less of who we drafted and more of who we left on the table. Too many 1st round grades and superior players we left for downgraded character guys.

Conklin was a need, and the team now has a starting RT. Honestly, would have taken Tunsil instead, even with that video surfacing, but oh well.

Dodd scares me that he came on late. I'd have taken Fuller, or one of the many other good players on the board.

I like the Johnson pick, and had him at that spot in a couple of my mocks. Can be a true nose tackle which we need ad woods is only signed one year, and not that great anyway. I thought Billings would be better, but with him falling so far, maybe not. Anyway, this pick fills a big need and should help in stopping the run, I like it.

I mocked Henry here once I think, but that was after taking a CB already. I get there isn't much behind Murray, but I we could have better used the pick on defense imo.

Byrad I know very little about. But they needed a safety and all the other guys linked to us were gone.

Not how I'd of done it, but I said in the beginning that I'd give JR the benefit of the doubt. He's worked his way from the bottom to the top based on his talent evaluation. But to call the draft a failure is ridiculous.
