I would love to grab a Hunter Henry, I would even settle for Nick Varnett/Austin Hooper. However, we need to address DB's first and get quality depth in the front 7.

I see TE more likely in the 3rd, but again, who knows. I really want a CB and DL out of round two.

We invested heavily in scouting later round defensive lineman DJ. Reader, Lawrence Thomas, Darius Latham, Quinton Jefferson, Joel Heath, Javon Hargrave, Trevon Coley. Would not be surprised to see two of these guys drafted in rounds 5-7.

    Round 2: OLB/CB/S (no order)
Round 3: TE (or above position not drafted)
Rounds 5-7: DL/(depth at other positions)

    33. Myles Jack - This kid is the best player left on the board and immediately adds a spark to our defense. To me the risk is worth the reward. One way to fix the back end of the defense is by building the front end. He can cover and get after the QB.

43 - Either of the Bama DT's - Obviously would prefer Robinson, but who knows if he makes it that far

45 - Kendall Fuller - Need in the secondary outweighs the luxury of adding a TE. Stevens can block and Delanie creates matchup problems already

I could also see us using one of these picks to move back and pick up an additional 3rd or 4th...

I really want to see us draft Nick Martin out of ND... He can play C/G and in my mind would solidify our OL

    LT-Lewan
    LG- Warmack
    C - Martin
    RG - Jones
    RT - Conklin

I simply want a block eating nose tackle, a dependable corner to compete with our current "starters",....we get that, mission accomplished, take a flyer on one of the lb's

with 3 selections in the 2nd round tonight, this is where we need to establish a strong foundation for the future of this team

I definitely see 2, if not all 3 picks, landing on the defensive side.

with that said, who are some of the players you would like to see selected tonight?

    my short list includes

Myles Jack (why not take a chance with 3 picks on a guy who might return top 5 player talent)
    Mackensie Alexander
    Kevin Dodd
    Chris Jones
    Shilique Calhoun
A'Shawn Robinson (would really love this pick)
    Reggie Ragland

if they go offense I wouldnt mind seeing either
Sterling Shepard or Hunter Henry (we need a solid TE back up to Walker)
