Pass on Myles, we just can't afford to not get that pick right.

We still need a few things before we take a gamble

Agree. So many impact guys still around. Would take any combination of Billings, Fuller, Alexander, Robinson, Correa, Ragland, Butler... And so on.

If we dont take him and hes available then we are idiots. We're not going to compete for superbowl this year regardless so take jack and let him recover for however long it takes. We would essentially be getting two top 10 picks with jack and conklin.

31 team doctors seem to feel he is a risk(Patriots can't be held accountable on this one). Wonder if he would have been a Belicheet guy if they still had their pick?

JR has had plenty of time to think about it, he doesn't have to make a spur of the moment decision tonight. I think he will do it.

I've always said that I'd love to see us trade #33 for a 1st in 2017....well another way to think about it would be to draft Jack now and have him have the microfracture surgery ASAP and get him ready for 2017. That would then be like having 3 1sts next yr.

talk about a guy who could play the Polomalu role....Jack is that guy

Jack Myles won't be there at 43. Whether we draft him or not, we need to capitalize on his availability at 33. Draft him and hope we can get a few years of studlyness from him, or trade back to someone who thinks they can. To pass on him would be bad. We are at the 2nd tier of defensive backs. The difference between Alexander, Fuller, and Howard is negligible, according to NFL draft grades. We can get one of those at 43. The difference between the best safeties is also negligible. We can grab one at 45.

I'm not a doctor, and I didn't stay at Holiday Inn Express last night, but to pass on the second best player in the draft, you'd have to believe he has no chance to contribute.

There has to be another team that thinks he's a steal at 33. Draft him, or trade for next year's first.
