Now that we have our two Tackles set up... Where do we go from here with improving our line?

    Lt Lewan
    Lg Bell/Poutasi
    C Jones
    Rg Warmack
    Rt Conklin

Obviously the next step is to sure up our Guards.

Are you happy with whoever wins the job out of Bell/Poutasi or whoever else is currently on the roster? Or do we draft one tonight?

Also, is Schwenke capable of moving back to guard and would that even be worth it? I know he has played guard in college so maybe he can stick around for depth at both posistions.

Wouldn't give you a can of beans for Bell or Poutasi at Guard and FWIW I am hoping not but I think Schwenke is going to have a tough time coming back form that injury. I'd like the C/G Nick Martin at our first pick in the third to win Cruds' football prize in another thread so maybe I am biased.

In short though , I do not feel we are finished unless the Vasquez thing resurrects itself.

Don't forget Spain who played well as a undrafted rookie last year, I also wouldn't count Poutasi out as he should improve playing on the inside. I wouldn't be surprised if we went after Cody Whitehair early or a late round guy. I think Warmack is on his way out, and we are going to look to find his replacement.

    Imo, Vasquez isn't the answer.

And i knew i was forgetting some younger guys.

Im holding out hope for Poutasi. From what i remember he had some flahses here and there.

Agreed Poutasi is best option as things stand. Spain looked good in flashes but didn't have much to beat. In fact , Spain looked better than Warmack most of the time.

Bell looked average at LG with Lewan and the misfit Centers we had last year, maybe he gets better with a seasoned Lewan and Jones next to him. But after him we have nothing at LG, and since Warmack is on his way out drafting another Guard wouldn't be the worst way to use up our picks.

The Titans should be set at the OL. It's all about what Grimm can get out of these guys.

    Lewan
    Poutasi/Spain/Bell/Gallik/Schwenke
    Jones
    Warmack
    Conklin

    Am I missing someone?

It's possible Schwenke will need to beat Gallik to become the #2 G/C.

Honestly just let Poutasi, Warmack, Spain, and Bell compete for the spots in TC. BCS is the Spain and Poutasi win and our OL is set for the next few years.

We can always draft OG next season if necessary.

Take Martin at 43 if he is still there, can play center or G like Jones. Gives us flexibility and a pretty good young line to build with.

Until we take two more O-linemen in the first next year. LG and C aren't filled by first round picks yet. Get on it JRob.
