You'll all be changing your tune when our starting QB actually makes it through the season for once, and our run game is actually helping us for the first time since CJs magical season.

I was expecting an OT in the first, I think we all were. I completely understand drafting Conklin, you have to do all you can to protect your franchise QB - That is a #1 priority of any successful franchise. You build around your QB, that's nothing new.

If anything, I'm a bit disappointed about giving up the 2017 second rounder, that hurts.

Y'all will be thanking JR when Watt isn't lining up on our RT every play because he is the weakest link. Marcus had a good season with no O line imagine what happens when we give him time!

Conklin is gonna be great for this team. 2 firsts next year help me cope with giving up a 2nd next year

It's easier to replace corners than it is to replace franchise qbs.

Yeah i still cant believe we traded up for a OT.. (i mean of course i can, we are the Titans) We need a CB like nobodies business and we traded up for a effin OT in the 1st.

All you saying giving up 3 picks for a right tackle are looking at this the wrong way. If our original trade was 1 this year two next year for 8, 42, 45, this year and next years 1 and 3 would you all be pissed? I doubt it.

We made out just fine and got the player we wanted. We might not have gotten the player you all wanted, but he was definitely the player our FO wanted.

And did we need a starting CB as many keep saying. Sure we did. But our priority was fixing RT this year and getting Mariota protected. Will we struggle in the secondary this year? Maybe, but next year we can land a top CB. You were not going to fill both holes adequately this year--not with the combo of CB talent and OT talent available. So you fix one this year and one next year. Regardless we are likely losing 9-10 games next year, so would you rather do that protecting Mariota and letting him really develop while giving up tons of passing yards . . . or would you rather have a good secondary and let Mariota struggle behind a ****** oline for another year. If you know you can fix it all in one year, the right move is fill the hole the protects Mariota and let him grow. Then next year, fill the CB role. Fixing this roster will take more than a year, and we are doing it the right way.

Not so sure about that......here on 104.5, they have been talking Conklin all day long, even doing interviews with him.

It's not going to excite fans but protecting Mariota is a priority for this franchise for that very reason.

Next to Robinson, Grimm was the most important hire this offseason, IMO.
