Tom Brady's Suspension Reinstated

In a 33-page decision, the second circuit court's decision can be boiled down to the following statement:

"We hold that the commissioner properly exercised his broad discretion under the collective bargaining agreement and that his procedural rulings were properly grounded in that agreement and did not deprive Brady of fundamental fairness. Accordingly, we reverse the judgement of the district court and remand with instructions to confirm the award."

BROAD DISCRETION is the key term...pretty much the court ruled Goodell can do wtf he wants....Period.

 

I'm neutral but I try to see it for what it is.. He is one of the all-time greats. This whole scandal is bad for the sport. Nothing that's happening is tarnishing Brady's legacy, only goodell's.

People know and accept what Brady/belichick are at this point.

 

I like him. All this Patriot cheating stuff is a shame though because it will always be tied to him.

 

Yep I accept that they're LIARS AND CHEATERS he's lucky if he gets voted to the HOFon the first ballot

 

If you don't think he will, then you're delusional. I hate the Pats, but I can at least appreciate the dude is HOF caliber.

 

I like Tom Brady as a player but I agree with the court and Goodell.

If Brady were to win, you set a precedent that if you cheat and destroy evidence, you get away free and are above the rules.

 

Goodell is such a chode.

Hope Brady is able to appeal this again and win.

 

The Supreme Court is not going to hear this. It's beneath them. Brady is essentially screwed.

 

Instead the precedent has been set that a player can be denied his right to earn his living based on the nothing more than Goodell's whims.
