Should we move up for an OT? If so how far up and for who?

If they didn't privately work him out or go to his pro day you really think there's a chance they are set on him? That would be crazy

 

Yeah we might as well stop talking about Ramsey, it's done. He's going top 5, and you know we're not trading back up that high. Let it go.

I'm ok with us staying at 15 and grabbing Decker. Unless they really love Conklin/Stanley and need to trade up to pick 10-14, giving a late 2nd rd pick in return.

 

I think the ramsey pick is a very unlikely scenario, but still a real possibility. He will go top 5, but with dal and sd being up there (and both a relatively good teams) a trade could happen. Neither team is "rebuilding" they just had a bad year, so they would be legit trade partners. We had to trade back with a qb needy team and the two teams i mentioned aren't that at all. So the best way to move back to 3, 4 or 5 is to trade with la, phi or sf and hope we can trade back up (remember theres no 3 team trades in the nfl). I'm still hoping our fo can see how bad we need a legit #1 cb, maybe they do and think someone else is a better fit (i just think ramsey is special).

 

I just don't see 4 OTs going along with probably 3 qbs. We'll get a solid tackle staying put IMO. If that does somehow happen, we should end up with a great defender.

 

Not at all Thakur. I think they want Stanley of Conklin and figured they would be as good as Tunsil or close to him, hence part of the trade outside of just value. Just saying with that drastic action u either love him or hate him (Decker) and it's likely hate. IMO

Completely agree! Like you said, we do have ammo, lots of ammo. I wanted Ramsey so so bad....

For Stanley or Conklin? No. A comparable tackle can be had at 15 or 33.
For Tunsil, Bosa, Ramsey, Buckner or Hargreaves? Yes. It would be worth trading away just one of our second rounders to move into the 5-9 zone and pick a blue chip prospect if one we like falls a little.

Personally, I would trade back from 15 into the 20's where a similarly graded player can be had and try to add a 4th 2nd round pick. More tickets to the lottery in a deep draft.
