Should we move up for an OT? If so how far up and for who?

As long as they value Decker AND whoever they get in the second round as much as Conklin and Staley.

I will however say that if we don't take an OT at 15th and Robinson and co dont believe that a guy like Ifredi would make it to the second Id be fine with moving into the 20s from 33rd overall.

I'm torn but I agree obviously that if you rate Decker close or equal to Stanley and Conklin we may just wanna stay put at 15. I just heard one analyst grade Conklin higher than Tunsil on ESPN radio , might've been McShay.

Move up to 9 if we want Conklin ahead of NYG
Move up to 8 if we want VH3 ahead of TB?

That's the thing about the draft though, you never really know for sure who is going to be a good player or not. But don't get me wrong, I wouldn't be mad about a trade up.... if the price is right. I was one of the few that was not completely head over heels with the trade back to 15. But now that it's done I like the ammo we have. Some of these guys are no doubt going to bust. Having 4 chances in the top 2 rounds is pretty sweet.

I have faith in what JR is doing so if a trade up is the move then so be it. I don't think he's gonna do anything Webster-level dumb.

Really hoping we hit on all three of the 2nd's if we decide to keep them. That will be a game changer.

I hope for that too but it is statistically unlikely.

Like I said, I like what JR is doing and even this early in the game it's safe to assume he's the best GM we've had in years. BUT, I do feel like some fans might be getting a little carried away with their expectations. At the end of the day this is a first time GM (despite his impressive resume) and he is most likely going to whiff on some big picks along the way. Most GMs do.

That's a big reason I wasn't quite as in love with trading all the way back to 15 as most were. Ramsey is the only player I view as a slam dunk in this entire class. And he was ours for the taking. Yes, we got crazy good value in return for the pick. But you still gotta hit with the picks. If we miss with the 1st and at least one of the 2nds was this really that great of a trade?

To clarify, I don't want to come off like I hated this trade because that's not the case at all. Just offering a potential flip side to all this.

Nope. Stay at 15 and take Conklin or Decker.
