    No doubt

Stevens is underrated and underappreciated IMO

having said that he is not elite. Not even close. But he does deliver when his number is called. Rarely see him smack the ground cause he blew a play.

Titans can get all the Supernaws and Fasanos they want this year using the first waiver claim slot.

Getting another Walker will be hard cause it always is

You know I wouldn't be so sure of that...yes we want to be a run first team, but we also have went on record saying we want to help out Marcus any way possible. RB is no longer an area of need because of Murray. Yes we need help on the line, but that area because we may look for a RT may be best filled in round 2. So what better way to help a young QB grow rather than a great defense and strong running game? Give a talented WR. Look at the impact of AJ Green on the growth of Andy Dalton, Amari Cooper impact on Carr, Allen brothers on Bortles, or even Mike Evans on Winston. The list can go on, but one thing for certain a true #1 WR could really serve as a catalyst to a young WR. Might not be a bad idea to give your QB a WR who he knows if he gets into a bind he can throw the ball to his #1 guy and probably expect a play to be mad. So I was saying even though we don't "need" a WR if we selected one I also wouldn't be mad. Considering we have quite a few picks to address other areas and could possibly have our pick of WR before anyone else. Not too mention having a passing game that isn't anemic also stops teams from stacking the box too often also helping the running game.

Yeah it's something I would be able get behind...

Hunter Henry looks like a safe pick, I'd be happy if they managed to get him in the second round.

Hey B4UGO, this is how it's done. GoT never claims to have "facts" and openly admits it's an opinion. Bravo!

How is this a "nice article"?

It takes a bunch of stuff that the Titans did by accident (namely, being bad as sh*t) and retroactively assumes they did it on purpose to serve some kind of greater goal.

No one can deny that things seem to have worked out in the Titans' favor, but it wasn't because of some kind of master plan. If it was, they fired the guy who would have been in charge of the first two phases of the plan (Ruston).

So, yeah, it's not a "nice article."

RB is no longer a need? You're happy with Sankey, Cobb and Andrews? We just signed Matthews, who will help Mariota huge and if DGB continues to develop and be our #1, that will also help MM. WR is deeper than RB imo

It's just nice reading what the Titans accomplished with the trade rather how brilliant the Rams were for trading up to grab a QB that probably wouldn't be top 10 any other year.
I think Rams go Goff at 1

It could be upgraded for sure, but its definitely not as big of a need when we traded for Murray. Who knows how any of them will perform in limited roles. I do agree with you that WR on the Titans is deeper than RB, however its also true that we do not have a top flight talent at WR. Yes we have guys with potential, but do we really have a #1 caliber WR on our team? I personally say no we don't. Who knows if Murray will return to his pre-eagles form, but he will certainly be better than any other RB on the current roster. IMO, a true #1 WR will have a bigger impact in todays NFL than a great RB. A true #1 WR will have a bigger impact on the growth of a young QB. A safety net a young QB can rely on when he gets in a bind or simply need a reliable guy to make just make a freaking play. How many game deciding drives did faltered last year because non of the current WRs could simply make a play? So yeah I don't think WR is as big of a need as some other key roles, but part of the draft when you are in the middle of the pack is drafting ahead of a need. If there is a run on talent in areas you need, you may be better off upgrading an existing area if you can get a true difference maker before a run on that position starts. IMO, I think Doctson has the potential to be an upgrade over every WR on our current roster. However, if he's taken off the board I say pass on Treadwell. Not that I think he's a bad talent, I think the team needs someone more than a position WR.

Playoff contending team in 2017 seems like a stretch when they've won 5 games in 2 years. It would seemingly take 10-11 wins to make in the AFC as the Colts shouldn't be as bad as they were last year so I'm counting the Wild Card as a viable option , still needing double digit wins to achieve that goal.

I would be perfectly fine with a record close to .500 next year and improvements across the board - and be competing in the 2018 range.

The 6 top 76 picks are so huge...honestly it's realistic to hope we hit on 4/6 of the picks, and that would be a pretty damn nice haul. Need to hit on 3 every draft ideally, so 4 would be nice [and realistic considering all our picks]
