I'm a lot more comfortable with them taking a bit of a risk on this pick.
Hedging all your bets on one OT, DB, or another Derrick Morgan is some seriously risky business.

Either Ramsey, Bosa, or Tunsil have to be HOF, or we have to miss on all the picks we got in return, to make this trade not work out in our favor.

I did not feel good about the prospects of using that #1 pick. I feel a lot better with these options. #15 is no joke, and the Rams could be picking in the top 10 next year.
Since we don't want to take a QB, this is the ultimate move for a GM to make, with a roster so devoid of talent.

You have to be really slow to think we are going to foolishly blow off the one CRITICAL need we have (RT), by picking any other position but OT in the first Rd? Have you forgotten that Whisnehunt, half of the staff and Webster got fired last year? What did they get fired for? That's right...for the inability to protect our Golden Duck....MM8!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I understand that, but the talent of OT drop significantly after Tunsil even more after Stanley.

The 49ers Trent Baalke loves picks. $50 say JRob is on the phone with him right now offering #15 and #45 for #7. It works out perfect on the trade chart and would give us one of the top guys. Would be sooooooo sick.

    Ya heard!

Not really. If we were needing a LT, it would probably be Decker. But there might not be a better pure RT in the draft than Conklin, especially as a run blocker. I suspect it will be Decker, as he'd be the best prospect to be able to play either LT or RT at a high level.

I don't want to see the Titans lock into one position for #15. There are too many needs on this roster to reach for any position.

I like where we are at. We'll get a good OT, which we need more than any other position in this draft...but where we stand to clean up is being in the pole position to nab 3 players with 1st Rd grades, at the top of the 2nd. Every year, there are a handful of those kind of guys.

Guys like Billings, Nkemdiche, Ashon Robinson, Eli Apple, William Jackson, Josh Doctson. Every year there are a handful of players that are picked in the 1st that nobody had a 1st Rd grade on...so at least one of those guys will probably be sitting there at #33. I hope Nkemdiche is one of them. He and Casey...with DaQuan Jones moved to NT, could be a dominant defensive front.

I'm sorry, but after the HC and GM getting fired last year....because they couldn't protect MM8, you better believe OT is going to be PRIORITY No.1 for Robinson. He better lock in on that position, or all these extra draft picks and gonna do diddly squat for us.
