I'm actually surprised the poll is lopsided so much towards Ramsey actually.

I've see multiple people say the same thing on here, and I'm sure there's a link somewhere but I would have to go way back to find it lol

Could easily ask if you watched our OL get Mariota killed though... And the health of Mariota is more important than anything with this team.

Again, just playing devil's advocate here. I'm most surprised by how hellbent people are against Tunsil. I don't think it's an easy decision. If we are confident in Lewan sliding to RT, Tunsil is going to be the pick. I think that's what it boils down to... if we can't trade back.

Yeah I slightly prefer Ramsey at this point but Tunsil would still be an awesome pick and make a huge impact right away - even if it's not quite as direct as the impact Ramsey would make.

    From Reddit...

You know, it really makes more sense for the Titans to pick Ramsey over Tunsil with the first pick.

I will concede that Tunsil grades out as a better prospect than Ramsey. And he does fill a more valuable position, especially considering Marcus Mariota was abused last year.

The swing chip here is Taylor Lewan. He is a very good LT, probably top 10 maybe top 5 when he is fully developed. Tunsil will probably be an upgrade, but how much is that worth? You also have to consider if Lewan is moved back to RT, you can expect him to be gone by the end of his contract, in 3 years, to get big LT money.

So, with Tunsil. you get 3 years of great RT play combined with a pretty slight upgrade at LT (not a guarantee by any means). On the contrary, Ramsey gives you a likely cornerstone of the defense in the secondary. This may not be as valuable as a great franchise LT, but the argument can be made that it is better than 3 years of great RT play and a slight long-term upgrade over an already very good LT.

To sum up, Ramsey + Lewan > Tunsil + 3 years of Lewan. Titans pick Ramsey #1 overall.
