Buckner doesn't bother me in the least, my nightmare would be drafting Bosa. Putting some one opposite Casey makes sense. Buckner is the top ranked DE that fits the 3-4. The front 7 on D can make the DB's look much better than they are, while if they can't get pressure even good DB's look average or bad. In the few games our front 7 actually showed up we were in the game. Fact is they got worn down and by the 4th quarter had no juice in the tank. I not advocating actually taking Buckner but worse things could happen.

You can never have too many pass rushers. Fact is we don't have a game changer at any defensive position. Morgan was fine but when he got hurt what happened? When the Titans are an elite team, they have an elite pass rush. If there's no impact pass rusher in the draft, that's fine. But let's not act like just because we have two above average pass rushers that we could not use a upgrade. Defensive Ends are paid more than offensive tackles and there is a reason.

I'm not saying we should draft Buckner I just get tired of this sentiment that somehow our defense is good enough to focus on offense, because we had a decent few games. We need players who are elite talents at their position above anything else. If JR deems that Tunsil is that guy so be it, but I just want all pro level talent as opposed to "need" drafting.

I agree with your sentiment on everything else. Just tired of hearing our depth at DE

Buckner is fine if we trade back a bit but not #1 material based on his mediocre workout numbers.

I think Buckner helps us more than Bosa short term because Bosa would be alternating with Morgan and Orakpo while Buckner could start straight away at 3-4 end. I see Bosa as a 3-4 olb in our defense not an inside player at his weight.

Again there were just 2 games last year where McCourty and Cox were both healthy. Cox only missed 3 starts but was at less than 100% several starts with the hammy and McCourty missed 11 starts i believe.

How do we judge our CB play when Sensabaugh was basically our #1 CB based on playing time and we had to use guys like Cody Riggs and Webb on the outside?

We did learn something last year. We learned that Wilson was a waste of a 3rd rd pick. We can move on from that.

Dude I freaking love Fuller's tape. Would be estatic if we ended up with him. Really depends on the physical though.... Even if we go Ramsey at #1 I'd love us to consider Fuller at the 2nd or 3rd round. Guy is maybe the best cover corner in the draft-- injury is the only thing holding him back.

Obviously this guy is gonna play. 1 year deals are coach helpers and transition players. He can play. He's also pretty old. He ran the secondary in AZ. But it's a 1 year deal. TRANSITION. Say it with me

I would literally break something if one of those two were not the pick. If we draft Bosa, I will have a MI (myocardial infarction). I am hoping for a trade within the top 5. That would be ideal!

As a Hokie, I would love to have him too, but he has injury issues, and when on the field against top opponents, he has struggled a little. Def a good player, but I think he lands in the 3rd or later. Depending on how we draft, if he is there at 3, and we have not addressed the position, it is a no brainer.

Moving an already pro LT to RT for a rookie LT makes sense to protect our QB? What are you smoking man, and why do you always come off as an eggplant? Forever insulting posters on this board as if you are all knowing. You still have not answered my post on OTs. Going so far back as Pace and forgetting about more recent picks taken at #1 in Long and Fisher. Going to run from that anymore? So Tunsil is a HOF player eh? What if he can't beat Lewan at LT (more likely)? We spend a 1 at RT? That is just dumb, and even if he does, Lewan walks in 3 years (just when we will make a run if we can), and then what, another #1 at OT to fix it all again? This is your thought process at the moment.
