Yeah as the children end up fighting for the money. Once that owner parent dies.

The league can allow a team to be a member or not. You going to not sell and see your brand go to zero overnight? Fair or not, it is what it is in business.

This is a new twist- that KA IV rumored to be pushing for the sale if he isn't granted a clear path to ownership and control.

    A very real possibility of a sale remains. @Gunny @Alex1939 :p

    You're completely wrong. Sorry.

The owners work for the NFL. They need to comply with the rules mandated and agreed to, upon becoming an owner. If the NFL find that their ownership structure has potential loop wholes in their system then they have all the right in the world to follow protocol in this situation. Change it, or find a new owner who will.

This is squarely on the Bud family.

The issues at hand arent serious issues if 2 of the other family members just give up 0.5% to Amy so everything is kosher on paper, thats all this is is a paperwork issue

Not really. There are 3 families with 33% each. AAS, TS et al and KA III's.

The league wants a legal "incontestable' decision maker which doesn't happen at 33% each family (AAS, TS). Even a shift of 0.5% would put AAS or TS et alat risk for the other person to "outvote" them if the other folks abstain. Bud's daughters don't appear willing to do that and/or there might be something within the estate "irrevocable" trust that precludes any such sale. We are not privilege to a a lot of the details so the only thing we can safely surmise is that there isn't an easy solution that is legally compliant with league and family desires.

From where Im sitting theres no pressing need to "get in line" with what the league wants. Like anything the ownership group will wait til the 11th hour then act.

I dont think fans should worry/care.

Yeah I guess AAS would need to own 51% of the franchise to be a sole controlling entity, and basically the other 2 groups that own 33% would have to sell their parts, which AAS might not want to put in a couple hundred Mil to do that.

Kenneth Adams has been by AAS side since she started last year, so Im assuming that drama is coming from Tommy Smith's wife or whatever group of people he was in with. Issue might stem back to him retiring, might have caused a rif.

I suspect TS wife will sell but smartly she wants to wait until value of shares back up. It appears at least that AAS supports KA IVs desire to be the face of ownership. It's looking more and more to me like the franchise will indeed stay in the Adams family but a sale (redistribution) of some of the shares will occur in the future to make KA IV owner rep as league wants.

I do think AAS and KA IV were responsible for letting TS be the "fall guy" and also abruptlyyanking Tommy out Of the role. That occurrence is most likely what spooked the other owners. And it might even be the other owners are not yet comfortable with KA IV as an owner rep.
