Rumor Jalen Ramsey the Favorite?

2013 was way worse

 

This draft is 2013 all over again.

OT leads the way, no good QB's anybody is going to try trading up to get, bunch of potential bust edge rushers, no clear cut No.1 RB....

 

Last year might turn out to be one of the best years ever to have the 2nd pick. And I'd gladly take Ramsey over anybody that went at the top of 2013.

 

The more I look at the options that could possibly be available to us the more I think Ramsey should be the guy.

The depth at OT is pretty solid this season and I like the odds of Clark or Decker sitting at 33 for us.

 

Exactly. The question comes down to do you like:

Option A: Ramsey @ 1 & OT @ 33
Option B: Tunsil @ 1 & DB @ 33

I'm going with Option A, all day. Get an elite playmaker in our secondary and still find a Day 1 starter at RT. I also like Decker, but my favorite may be Germain Ifedi from TX A&M.

 

I like Ifedi as well but he reminds me of Byron Bell coming out of college in that he is a power RT who can sometimes get beat by speed rushers. I think he will be a good player but I would put him at 7th if I were ranking OTs but then again this a quietly great offensive tackle class IMO.

The guy I would take at 33rd if available is LeRaven Clark from Texas A&M as he has the athleticism to play LT one day but struggle with inconsistency. I really like his upside though and if Rus Grimm could iron out his wrinkles I think him a Lewan could be the building blocks for our OL like Roos and Stewert use to be.

 

Great article for sure...and I have to agree with it....Dude just seems to fit here. Finding a ramsey isn't as easy as finding a solid RT....simply put. Lewan is just fine and will be better with talent around him

Tunsil, Decker and Conklin are the only OT I'd draft this year.
