Titans agree to terms with Rishard Matthews

It wasn't just our offensive line and lack of running game that pretty much made us worry for MM's life. It was the lack of our WR's ability to get open and get open quick. No Matthews isn't Jerry Rice, but in limited action he did a very solid job for Miami. We needed some kind of upgrade at WR. This could allow Kendall to come out of the slot a little more with DGB and Matthews on the outside and hopefully that will open up things for Wright more, as well as give MM a possible solid number two option in Matthews.

I think this was a solid pick up and a noticeable upgrade over Hunter and Douglas.

 

DGB needs to get crisp with own routes and shake some mud out of his head. I like the Matthews sign because of his demonstrated work ethic. Wright sometimes has some malcontent in him. Matthews should be good for the "esprit de corps".

WR depth became an issue last year and this pretty much solves that problem should we need our 2's and 3's to step up again...

Looks like Tunsil is going to be are #1 pick, unless he picks up a RT somewhere.

Doing wonders?!? Lmao I want what you're smoking. Hes only 2 signs so far is an average g/c and a number 3/2 wr at best. Murray chose us that was easy one and it wasnt a fa acquisition. He's missed out on a lot of guys we've pursued. Not looking good just mediocre at best

Boldin ran a 4.7 40 and look at the career he has had. Who cares what his 40 time is. He averaged over 15 yards a catch last season.
