Cusion is largely due to the playcalling. Considering we dont have the personelle to play man to man, we are usually in zone coverage.

Our DBs would be killed if we tried to play man to man.

Even the Broncos ran some plays against the Panthers where they were giving 10 yards cushion. The difference is they can man up to the WRs and we cant.

I just dont see JMac being a good FS. Im not a professional talent evaluator though.

They could also man up because Cam had negative 3 seconds to throw the ball. Cam usually had 1st read, 2nd re...aww sheet! Works both ways.

McCourty is a number 2 at best and we've already said were not moving mcwhiffin from corner.

Precisely. He plays corner too nice. Not an edge. Corners need to be fiesty he's more flashy.

Gonna agree with you on this one, he is too reactive and not enough proactive. Hence the reason I think he's more of a sit on your heels FS type than NFL CB. He can usually keep up with WR's tho so I guess he gets to say hes a CB

Also need to consider which area helped relieves the most pressure on other areas of need.

Should have been an "All of the Above" option.

Getting a run game going is very important to keeping Marcus upright IMO. Last year no team we faced had to worry about us running the ball. They knew we did not have a good enough run game & they focused on our QB.

Any bum off the street?? No way. Levitre proved you cannot just plug some one in at LG and expect results. The LT is more important, but it is still the QB's blind side. We need quality starters on that side period. I am not saying it is the top priority. However, I do not think for a second it is a spot we can just ignore & say it will work itself out. We did that for years with Levitre and look how well that worked.

This team needs much better G play on both sides if we hope to ever get out of the cellar of the AFC South. I agree it is not as important as other spots. However, this team has got to be able to run the ball to be effective. Especially with the old men we have coaching the team. This is not going to be a creative offense. We are going to run the ball a lot. If we don't see that coming we are kidding ourselves.
