I have a feeling both will be gone! The only way I see Elliot being there is if there is a big run or 2 on all those DL, a few QB's, WR's and CB's go.

But not sure a Seattle would pass on Henry. Denver, Seattle or NE would be good spots for Elliot.

On the other hand, next year's class should be loaded so the smart teams may wait on RB in round 1 this year and take their 1st round DL.

Texans would be the perfect spot for Henry. I think he fits a zone scheme better as he can get a couple strides to the outside before planting his foot and going. He's best as a 1 cut guy. Power teams that don't have great blocking won't get him nearly the creases he needs between the tackles. Elliot has more lateral agility and more make you miss in the hole so he can succeed in either scheme and does everything very well. Is Henry the next beast mode?

It's why we should have made a better HC hire and prepare to go all in on building this team in FA, draft and vet cuts. We just wasted 1 year of Mariota's cheap contract. How many more will we waste?

That bolded part tells me all I need to know. As if we would dare pay double what the next highest bidder is offering. Pfffft. This franchise has historically been rather tight-fisted, and knowing that this ownership group just made the cheapest coaching hire they could, doesn't that tell you something? They have no vested personal interest in the Titans success. THEY LIVE AND WORK IN HOUSTON. This franchise is nothing more than yet another business asset...and one obtained through inheritance. They are just collecting NFL revenue sharing checks while trying to keep expenditures to a minimum, so they can get the maximum rate of return.

This is why I suspect the NFL is trying to get them to sell. Watch and see, we will be done with FA, with 20mill or more in cap space left. That's the Adams family MO. It's nice to imagine that we'll pay top dollar, but in reality, it's just a pipe dream. Our only FA's will be guys available after the first wave or two, when all the premiere FA's are off the board. We'll have to take chances on guys because of their age or injury history...or potential, rather than production. It's the Titan's way

I was thinking the same thing when I saw where Seattle fell in the order.

Maybe, but I'm hoping most teams will address their RB needs in FA, with the Muscle Hampster, Forte, Miller, etc. I wouldn't mind cutting Sankey and McCluster to make room for Forte + drafting Henry. Texans might take a QB in the first. In fact, I could see them take Connor Cook, there, because he probably isn't gonna make it to their spot late in the 2nd.

24/7's mock has the Seahawks going with NKemdiche, and I would too if I were in their shoes. Guy is a Top 5 athlete, just some off the field question marks.

Strangely enough, they have Dallas picking Henry right behind us. I don't see Mularkey letting Henry slip past us, no way...no how.

First I've heard countless people here say we should be following the best player available strategy in the draft and thats what the Titans have been messing up. Well for me (and a lot of draft analysts out there) he has separated himself from the rest of the class and fills a need for us. I've yet to see anyone point out any flaws in his game on this forum... Just his position. You find a way to make room for these kind of players.

I think if there was an open competition and Tunsil ended up beating Lewan that he would accept it. When it comes to FA I think we could offer Lewan enough money to consider staying. If he is playing like a good RT then just give him LT money! Who cares. Pay him what he is worth to the team.

Also I'm not opposed to having Tunsil play RT. A line of Lewan-Osemele-Schwenke/Wies-Warmack-Tunsil would give our team a physical identity that the FO is looking for. Line up a Miller or Henry behind this line and stay ahead in the down&distance. I'll take my chances with Mariota in a third and short where we have the option to run behind our oline, DEs have to stay honest with Mariota's feet, and Mariotas quick release and decision making.

If we have Ramsey graded as a CB who will likely end up as a Richard Sherman-- you definitely have to take him. No question there. I just don't personally and I think anything less than a shutdown CB and you've made a huge mistake. Additionally I think a Tyron Smith LT >>> Sherman CB. Course it depends how exactly we've got them graded.

Tell me how Tunsil is better than Ronnie Stanley? Give me your reasoning for Tunsil being the best player in this draft and why he's separated himself above all the rest?

Tunsil is not a strong run blocker and is more of a wall off run blocker. Even as part of a double team he frequently doesn't get much movement (in fairness I watch tapes of tougher opponents first). In the first 2 tapes I watched, he was up and down vs LSU (2014) vs Danielle Hunter (#94). Hunter walked him back to the QB a few times and even knocked Tunsil down with a bull rush. Then he had problems against Auburn in 2015...especially when lined up against Carl Lawson (#55). Tunsil is definitely a very athletic OT who's much better in pass pro than run blocking unless you're a zone blocking scheme! But he's not exactly blanketing DE's he opposes and keeping everyone away from his QB.

Secondly, your strategy of moving Lewan to RT and then overpaying like he's a LT doesn't work. The Patriots played Wes Welker as much on the outside as he played the slot but then only offered him a contract as a slot player (significantly less than an outside WR). Teams offer contract based on comparables at THAT position.

lastly, what if Lewan beats Tunsil out as LT. Then you would have spent the #1 overall pick at RT? Tunsill would help our pass pro, but not nearly as much in run blocking depending on what we plan to do with it this year (zone, power or some combo).
