I agree with Johnson, Wisneiwski and Mitchell. I don't know much about McLendon.
Im hoping for Ramsey and praying we don't take Bosa, I think he has bust written all over him.

I like the Mitchell Schwartz idea if Cordy Glenn or Okung aren't available (or unbelieveably expensive). But first, the coaching staff needs to determine if Lewan is gonna be our starting and future at LT. If not, we may go after Glenn (the Bills are cap stretched) or Okung (who sounds like he's leaving Seattle).

Not a fan of Johnson. He's inconsistent and seems to play his best with S help over him. If we want a CB, go after Josh Norman for a 4 yr contract of around $15mil per year. We keep overpaying for inconsistent or lower tier players...go for a stud if he's available! If not, I'd look at Janoris Jenkins, Sean Smith or Casey Hayward.

Matthews is a solid player, but isn't he Harry Douglas but younger? Id go with Travis Benjamin who has gamechanging speed, held down a #1 spot last year despite his size, and would be a dangerous punt returner (bye bye DMC). Of course, that's only if we have no shot at Jeffrey!!!

I'd go after Damon Harrison to start at NT to replace SLH and Woods. It will be interesting to see if people hold out on getting lower prices from DL FA's given the huge quality and depth there in this draft. Wouldn't mind grabbing a Harrison and Jackson or Wolfe if we can't get a stud elsewhere (Norman, Jeffrey, Glenn/Okung).

If the OL believes Schwenke can be the long term answer but has been injury prone, I like the Wisniewski move. He should be cheap and give Schwenke competition and quality depth. On the other hand, that may mean Alex Mack is the OC for the Jags. I'd keep a keen eye on Mack to see if he opts out of his contract and beat the Jags at their own game!!!

Another outlier idea is Wilkerson. He'll cost $15+mil/yr but the guy does it all. He's a little more inconsistent than you'd like but he's good against the run and double digit sacks is impressive for a 3-4 DE. Pair him with Casey, Orakpo, Morgan with Klug in reserve and you have a pretty formidable pass rush. All the better if we can moves Daquan to NT with Harrison as a starter/quality rotational player.

Robinson can really upgrade and turn around this roster in a big way but it's gonna mean cutting fat right off the bat, and going hard after free agents who command top tier money, finding starters at decent prices, finding role players on the cheap, and drafting very well.

Our hopes are on Robinson since the rest of the FO is out to lunch!

To anyone still having illusions about us possibly signing vonn Miller.

    A. Denver wasn't going to let him.leave anyway
    B. His price just went through the roof (MVP)
    C. They would move the Rockies before they move Vonn NOW.

Actually, I think the opposite. I think there was no way they would have let him go with 2 things. First, he had a suspension not too long ago and they did draft his replacement. I think they were hoping to sign him to a huge deal but not the biggest in NFL history. That just went out the window!

So does Denver want to sign him to the largest defensive contract in history or franchise tag him until they can agree on a contract. I think they went from 100% he re-signs to 'only' 95%!

Is he likely to be available? Definitely not. But IF there was a chance, it'll be because now he'll want the biggest contract and not sure Denver will give it to him.

I guarantee we don't want to spend the money on "that contract" if we're trying to address all these hemorrhaging arteries we currently have.... Can anyone see Dallas or Baltimore.

Denver already stated they intend to tag him if a long term deal is not struck. Scrolling on ESPN all morning...

I honestly don't have much hope that we'll spend a ton of money in free agency. Doesn't seem like a Jon Robinson thing to do, based on his comments.
