I'm not going to do my rankings until after the combine, but I'm going to throw a name out there before everyone falls in love with him: Yannick Ngakoue, OLB, Maryland.

He left early because of a coaching change. 33 TFLs and 21.5 sacks in three years. I think he was miscast as a 4-3 DE at 6'2" 255. He isn't long enough to tangle with LTs play after play, but as a 3rd pass rusher in the third round? Yeah, I'd take him. He may even fall to the fourth because of the d-line/pass rusher depth in this draft.

I like his hustle. Dude never stop chasing the ball. Quick first step off the snap.
I think he was miscast as a 4-3 DE at 6'2" 255. He isn't long enough to tangle with LTs play after play. He doesn't hold consistently with runs directed toward him. When Maryland was up 22 against USF and it was time to hunt the QB in the fourth quarter though...

Watch him flatten out after he gets passed the OT.

As a Penn State fan, I had my eye on him for a long time. He is a late round go to when I mess with that first-pick.com game. I don't think I like him top pick of the 3rd round levels, though.

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but I was listening to our GM Robinson on one of those videos from titans website. He said the results from the combine (40 yard dash, bench reps, and etc.) doesn't really do much to their draft board. The only important thing they get from it is the physical/health analysis from the players and the one-on-one interviews.

I believe it's this video if anyone hasn't seen it yet.

I know nobody here likes to talk about boring OL picks lol but if we're looking to go that way in rounds 2 or 3, Cody Whitehair is going to be a very, very good OG in the NFL. Wouldn't be shocked if he's a first round pick.

It's not that we don't like to talk about o-line picks, we're just tired of selecting them too highly.

Didn't love him off this. Late off the ball a lot, flashes pass rush here and there, but lacks awareness of where the ball is, is not a sure tackler, gets enveloped by OT's when they lock him up.

Need to watch more tape but he doesn't look like a 3rd round pick off this. 5th-7th round based on this tape which means he's got a 50/50 of being an UFA. Like you, ill wait til the combine is over to have a better sense of these guys and watch more tape.

If we cut Griffin, that has to be the sign we're drafting Ramsey?

Not really because we should have cut him a long time ago! Plus, there are several good S's in this draft and Searcy could play FS so we could draft a FS or a SS. Or, we could potentially sign an Eric Berry or Reggie Nelson to replace Griff.

I'd go hard after Norman if he isn't locked up and Berry!

You might have that backwards. We dont gain anything cutting Griffin before the draft. But if we do take Ramsey I think its safe to assume Griffin is on the way out.
