Anyone who knows American sports knows it's spot on. Nobody can legitimately justify it being inaccurate.

It will take time. FWIw soccer has taken off in Canada pretty good but still a long way from touching the big four.

As long the immgrant population keeps growing the MLS will keep on growing.Just like it is now the progress the MLS has made in the past 10 years is nothing but impresive especially with money.

Yeah probably close, it is just that the article proves nothing.

Soccer though is growing in popularity, that also cannot be denied. Though I doubt it will ever get to the level it is in Europe and South America because (so as not to repeat myself)

thats pretty much all I'm saying. It's not going to reach the popularity that it has in other countries. It's been proven time and time again that the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL are the main sports this country cares about. Soccer isn't something new to the U.S. It's been around for a while and just isn't that popular here.

Depends on where the immigrants come from. If current immigrant trends continue then yes, you are right.

The city of Orlando has a large Latin population. Cubans, Ricans, Brazilians.

Orlando City is by far more popular than Orlando Magic. Mainly because it's new, but also because in those countries soccer is #1.

It's not far fetched to believe if the Latin population grows in America, Soccer can over take Hockey or the NBA.

Again, depends on where the come from. Soccer is huge in Brazil but in Cuba and Puerto Rico baseball are king. Latin does not always equal soccer love. Usually, but not always :)

And I did say if current immigrant trends continue then it will make soccer more popular.

If trends shift towards Asia though, specifically India, China and Pakistan, then it will not drive soccer popularity. Then you will see more cricket on TV.
