If OL is not addressed in FA it will be addressed in the draft. We definetly need a center for sure . Mack at center would help immensely with the whole line.

 

we're way worse off at center than any other area on the team, gotta imagine they know this too and will want to add a FA or two

 

Why does that have to be? How many times do we all look back at past drafts and see the best player being an offensive lineman or defensive lineman? There is no consistency determining position is the safest pick. Let's step outside of predictability for once. Let's be bold and id say get Ramsey...fix the OL through FA.

 

With a new GM not sure how we go this draft. Hope we can trade back from first pick but if not have to take best player. That's how get better.

 

I kind of like the idea of bucking the trend that you have to go QB, OL, or DE at #1 overall. Why would we? I mean as long as we get OL help in FA, there's no reason for us to take a DE or QB when we have Casey and Jones both playing well, and Mariota our franchise QB.

If we're stuck at #1 and can't get out, why not just take the most gifted, ridiculous athlete we can. If Robinson thinks Jalen Ramsey is the next Ed Reed, why shouldn't we take him #1? Because history says so? Who cares! It's not like he'll be there for our next pick.

Unfortunately that's the way it goes.

I don't think a DB has ever been taken #1 overall. If it were me, I'd take Ramsey. High floor, high ceiling. Safest pick IMO.

Worst thing we could do is take Tunsil and the Jags end up with Ramsey at #5. I'd die.

 

Arguably 2 of the weakest parts of this team is the oline and the secondary.

Honestly believe Jalen would dramatically improve the secondary.
