Uhhh... I thought this dude grew up a Titans fan.

To say Ray Lewis was his #1 favorite player is a slap in the face to all of our fans and this franchise.

He must not have been a real fan. Sounds like the idiot talking to me at the midnight launch of Madden like six years ago... The dude said he used to be a Titans fan until the Ravens beat us in January of 01... Then he switched to a Ravens fan. I respect terrorists more than that clown. At least they commit.

 

I give him a pass because Ray Lewis is exactly the football play he wanted to be growing up. If you are in that spot, you owe it to yourself to watch and emulate the guy.

He has always wanted to kill someone and get away with it??? How about Urlacher? At least no one has died at his house.

 

Emulate on the football field. Don't be pedantic.

Also, I know growing up in TN, I watched Lewis all the time because they played the Titans or they'd just show them if the Titans weren't playing the early game. I don't have any memories of watching Urlacher outside a few playoff games. Hard to emulate a guy you never get to watch.

 

Lived in Tn all my life as well. Watched Urlacher as much as I did Lewis

At least he's not admittedly a Steelers fan like BWW. Idolizing a hard hitting HOF linebacker is not the worst thing. Who would you want to be his role model? Peter Sirmon? Rocky Boiman? Brad Kassell?
Bulluck would just be a cheesy fan-service answer. And at his age, he probably barely remembers any of these guys.

He is a black MLB what is wrong with him thinking another black MLB, who happens to be a 1st ballot HoFer, is his favorite player of all time. He relates to it and therefor he is his favorite.

I am a Titans fan through and through, but some of my favorite players are Ed Reed and Troy P. Who gives a chit.
