I never said we should draft him. He's likely going in the 2nd round and we draft too early to take him.

 

If we got a legit HC I would say DMC got cut without a doubt. Keeping Mularkey I bet he stays on the roster and sees the field much more than we would like.

The sad fact is that Mularkey is crazy about Dexter. Why I have no idea. Dexter has speed, but has more than proven that all he has is speed. I hope he is cut. However, I do not expect it.

I wouldn't say Mularkey loves him, I think Whiz definite had a bromance with him. As it stands now, he's the only guy on the roster who can catch a punt....

 

Remember Mularkey named him a team captain a week after Dexter fumbled a PR & fumbled a carry at RB? I remember several weeks at Press Conferences Mularkey talking about how important it was for Dexter to be more involved in the game plans. How much of a play maker Dexter was.

Mularkey may be a changed man. He needs to be. This is beyond the shadow of any doubt the last chance he EVER gets as a HC. IMO he should not have gotten this one. Better not get myself started on that again..... Anyway I hope he comes into this year determined to do ANYTHING it takes to WIN. That would mean not caring about the friendships he has with below average players. It seems to me that he & Whiz were cut from the same clothe. Both always seem to talk up the same below average guys on the team. Griffin & DMC always stand out in my mind; because I was always thinking: What the hell can they see that I am missing in these guys??

The salary that we are paying below average guys like Griffin & DMC would be enough to bring in 2 or 3 very capable guys IMO. Griffin is getting paid like a rock star. I just do not get that.

Hopefully the new GM looks at these contracts and says WTF??? Griffin is one guy who absolutely should be a cap casualty.
