I agree, but Henry is a lot different than most, probably make an exception for him

I meant I would take him in a heart beat with our 2nd.

He had just 10 more carries than Walker did when comparing their two seasons. Henry still only had 602 career carries while Walker had 994. In fact, Elliott was just shy of Henry logging 592 career carries but passed him in touches when you account for receptions. Alex Collins 665 carries. Kenneth Dixon 802 and 87 receptions. Devontae Booker 560 carries with 80 receptions in just 2 seasons, along with already being 24 and having a violent running style himself.

Odd how none of this is mentioned but Henry, a guy with no injury history and has a frame of 6'3" and 238, is a guy we should be worried about based on his touches.

And his lack of projection as an NFL back. That's my #1 concern. College workload is a distant #2.

I'm not sure if you've noticed, but I'm not really advocating taking any of these guys. None of them are special. I think RB is the last thing we should address, not one of the first.

I'm not one that has really argued about his workload but Henry had 395 carries in one year. That's a lot worse than having two 200 carry years. Henry had over 100 more carries than Zeke this year. That's a lot of extra hits.

Having said that, I don't think durability is the issue with Henry, it's his skill set that is worrisome.

Agreed, next year's RB class should be much better than this year's.

It's not the durability that is the issue. It's that he needs a high-volume of work to be successful. Too many carries go for nothing and then he eventually breaks a long one.

    He's big Chris Johnson.

Fournette, Cook, Chubb(if healthy), McCaffery, Freeman, Hurd, and so on.

We can't fix everything in one year. RB is one we should neglect in the draft this year.

Yep. CJ gave us what...3-4 good yrs? Plus, Cobb may not have made a splash this year, but he's no slouch. He'd be more than capable of taking some of the load off Henry. Plus, if we get our RT situation squared away and Poutasi turns out to be a solid LG, we should suddenly have one of the better OL's in the league.

I think our OL woes have been more of a product of bad coaching than bad players. Why? Look at Carolina...in the Superbowl with Michael Oher playing LT. Remember how terrible he was supposed to be? If that was true, then how did he manage to revive his career with the Panthers...who were a middle of the pack team last year?
