Even if we already assumed every single detail Sundquist wrote, him confirming those details would still have value. He was actually there.

And we certainly didn't know everything. We didn't know that ownership is claiming to be scared about in-fighting among coaches and that's how they justified the Mularkey decision to GM candidates.

Sundquist strongly hinted that the Titans are trying to copy another team's specific model (he doesn't name the team) and mentioned he advised against that. That's notable.

Like I said, it's definitely not anything groundbreaking, but it's perhaps the best insight into ownership we're likely to get this year. It's certainly not worthless.

I can see how one could appreciate confirmation of something they only to that point thought was true, but youre really no better off for him sharing his experience.

The juice is not worth the squeeze.

I disagree completely. We all had our assumptions and thoughts because of the results, but we didn't have a lot of reasons behind them.

You act like this article is subtraction by addition. It is very interesting to get into the mind set of how they conduct interviews, the questions they asks, the vibe they put out to candidates, their acceptance criteria, their reasoning behind their past and future decisions.

It is also very interesting to see him lay down his philosophy for this team and his approach in how to identify issues with the organization and on the various different levels.

With that knowledge, and the result of him not getting the job, sets a bar for Robinson. I'm now very curious to see what philosophy Robinson has comparatively. It would tell a lot of what the organization values in that regard.

I found the whole thing very insightful.

I'm totally with Toronto on this one. I wish more people would share their sour grapes. Who care's, the more negative press the better chance of change. Obviously the NFL thinks Titans ownership has major issues right now. But the good ole Titans fans have to eat another s#$! sandwich and pretend it's filet mignon.

If this were NY or Boston nobody on the board would give ownership benefit of the doubt on anything at this point....
