Fix the Offensive Line

BWW and Sensabaugh playing was what ultimately doomed the D, those 2 fools have no business starting an NFL game, at best theyre both CB5's.

But depth at OLB hurt us too, just not quite as bad as dumb and dumber playing

 

Stevens had a great year for a 3rd TE, Fasano made what like 2 plays all year? He can be cut..

 

~25 catches ~300 yards for Fasano, less than half of that for Stevens. Unless you're talking about blocking?

Not saying he can't be cut...I just don't see the point in replacing him with basically the same guy. (Now Celek isn't available so it doesn't matter)

Back up TE isn't a concern IMO. Stevens or Fasano can do enough in both blocking and catching.

 

No one cares about getting Celek, thats not the point, dumping dead weight is what the real discussion is about.. Fasano is not much better than Stevens (if at all) but will cost us twice as much to keep.

Stevens at 1.5M is a better value than Fasano at over $3M. TBH neither should be back if Im the GM...

WR is a bigger problem than TE

And that is a lot to pay a third string QB

 

3rd? Um Mettenberger would become the 3rd QB

and WR would be addressed in the draft

 

This team needs to upgrading FIRST STRING, STARTER type players! Who cares who the 6th TE and 3rd QB are?

 

Michael Oher wasnt considered good enough to play RT for us and is now the starting LT for a Superbowl team. That should give us some hope that good coaching can turn this OL around.
