Henry reminds me a lot of Eddie George in the style of running.

Nfl draft scout ranks Collins 3rd behind Elliot and henry so i don't see how he is under rated.

If both Collins and Henry are there at the top of the 2nd rd it is a real tough choice.

The thing that might help Henry is this draft like most lately just does not have many high quality big backs. There are maybe 2 225 lb backs(Howard, Williams) you might consider in rd 3 or 4 but they are not fast or explosive as Henry is.

The obvious rd for a RB is in the top of the 2nd. Even if Henry and Elliot are off by then you still have a very clear choice in Collins and have to make that move.

havent seen a lot of Collins posts, do you think he's got the moves to put fans at ease knowing at some point the line will crumble forcing the RB's to have to get out of trouble on their own?

a lot are worried Henry's lack of lateral quickness in the backfield will keep him from being special. I dont see it that way but thats the only reason peolpe dont like Henry... Collins seems to have more pep in his step as he takes the handoffs.

3rd round at best. And I'd be PISSED if we spent that on him.

    4th round talent.

There are unknown kids in this draft that are better NFL RB prospects than Henry.

People don't like Henry because he simply does nothing great.

Usually, a great back has one thing they do very well. What is his thing? Doesn't exist.

He's big, stiff, slow, has an inability to cut and that never works in the NFL.

He's Jalston Fowler, essentially- without being able to catch out of the backfield. Which is fine if he wants to play FB.

That's more related to how people treat them. I just view them as a way to get a lot of names of prospects to follow.

He steamrolls guys pretty well, who else is doing that in this draft?

    Yup Derrick Henry is slow

At more than 240 pounds, Henry posted one of the top 40-yard dash times during the Tide's spring testing (4.50) while recording the second-best power clean on the team (345 pounds), a 440-pound bench press, a 500-pound squat and a 35-inch vertical jump.

Only three running backs ran better 40-yard dash times at this year's NFL scouting combine. Two weighed at least 35 pounds less than Henry. The other — 230-pound ex-Florida State standout Karlos Williams — is around 15 pounds lighter.

So he would've been the 4th fastest RB at last year's combine. I predict he improves on his 4.50 time.

That's insanity....My concern is the fact he can't catch out of the backfield and how much of his success was his OL. There is no questioning his wrecking ball style and size.
