    Duuuuuuude.....
    1. Mel Kiper was never an NFL scout nor ever worked for the NFL in any capacity.
    2. Bob McNair was not the mayor of Houston when the Oilers left (referring to your other post).

They are talking about taking him in the 2nd not the 1st.

Henry was fortunate to run behind a good OL but not even most Alabama fans think that was the best OL in the country this year. The right side was manhandled in almost every big game last season and Cam Robinson had a bad ankle injury for half the season. He didn't have the OLs like Ingram and Richardson had where they got huge holes every other carry. Henry worked more for his yards than any other RB under Saban. The stereotype that he just went through open holes all season and didn't work for anything shows ignorance and a group think mentality. Alabama certainly has some talent along the OL but not even close to what they were in 09, 11 and 12. I'm amazed you haven't mentioned SEC bias over the award being given to Alabama.

Mock drafts are a sham. They're basically just evaluations from the writer until the Senior Day rolls around and then the combine. Then they alter their mocks to match what they hear and match who is trending up and down. I'm sure some college football fans were shocked when a player you weren't expecting left or stayed, just because a site like Walter Football has them as a 3rd round pick doesn't mean NFL scouts don't have them listed as a 1st or early 2nd, and vice-versa.

If we could get Ramsey in the first and Henry is there at 33?

    Woowee.

I really like the "he doesn't have the lateral quickness needed!!!" argument.

Did Eddie George? Hell no. He was just an F'n beast that set the tone for this team. Not saying Henry is Eddie George, he could be trent richardson for all I know but it's not a good argument. The guy is clearly a beast.

Every player has something wrong with their game, the fact the ONLY knock on Henry is his lateral quickness in the backfield is fine by me..

If a RB is continually getting wrapped up in the backfield No.1 thats his lines fault, No.2 call outside plays, No.3 set him at 8-yards deep instead of the usual 7 so he has time to see the rush coming.

If Antonio Andrews can do as well as he did from 8-yards back anyone can. And if you let that anybody be Derrick Henry then watch out.

Derrick Henry has plenty enough lateral quickness once he's moving to be worth our 2nd pick..

I wouldn't be too upset with the Henry pick. Just need to beef up the Oline to get him to the second level more consistently.

Dont even have to do that much, just have to keep him clean til he hits the hole, he'll do the rest..
