Grimm's 2003 Stoolers line was 25th in the league in run blocking and 20th in pass pro. Hardly great. His 2006 Stoolers line was 23rd in run blocking and 25th in pass pro. Again, hardly great.

Most other years, excluding his final three in Arizona, his lines were mediocre or inconsistent, either OK in run blocking and poor in pass pro, or vice versa. His last three years were as follows:
    2010 - 21st Run, 27th Pass
    2011 - 15th Run, 27th Pass
    2012 - 32nd Run, 26th Pass

I haven't looked to see who's available, but I believe we could have found someone better than Grimm.

The fact is: When you hire a Lame duck HC you get a scrub Assistant Staff. We had the same issues with Munchak. He was never viewed as a HC that will have success so no real Assistants wanted to be a part of the team. Until Mularkey actually proves he can do something this will be the case. He will hire his old friends who have not been able to get better positions because that is all he can hire.

LeBeau is a real DC. He has had success and improved our defense. He needs some real players in the secondary to have a chance to have a great defense.

Other than LeBeau the staff Mularkey has put together is uninspiring. Yes the have YEARS of experience. Experience means nothing if that experience is years of average or below average performance. LeBeau is going to retire in the near future. I know a lot of people want Schwartz back. However, I really hope that Spanos is taking advantage of the teacher he has at his disposal. Schwartz coming back would not be a bad thing. He has shown he is a very good DC IMO. I just would love to see a real home grown talent come out of this group. We always seem to look to promote from within. It would be really nice to see a candidate get a job that really can do something with it.

He has been out of coaching since 2012 for a reason. Amy hope you are pleased with these stellar hires by your boy......................Mularkey. We continue to hire coaches and put them in positions that none of the other 31 teams would do, and then wonder why we suck?

Maybe I will be proved wrong, but I think there will be thousands of psl's that will not be taking tickets this year. I know I have 2 and I am done giving this organization my money.

I've been looking for a while and can't find this piece of information, does Grimm run a man blocking scheme or zone?

In 2006 the line blocked for Wilkie Parker. He gained 1494 yards with 13 tds and averaged 4.4 ypc, And was 10th in the league in rushing offense. The offense was 7th in the league. Difficult to have a top 10 offense behind a bad line. He has also been a part of 6 Super Bowls. 4 as a player and 2 as a line coach. You should have your facts straight.

The last 3 seasons in Arizona 2010 through 2012 he had kolb, Skelton, hall, lindley, Anderson, and Hoyer as qbs. As I said, those guys aren't going to make any line look good. My statement about him being great everywhere else is acurate.

My facts are straight. If you had bothered to use the links I provided, you would have seen that the rankings were exactly as I wrote.

Guys, you can't really blame the Titans for this hire.

It's not like we've ever had a HOF Oline coach who was terrible at coaching.

How could we be expected to see another one when they come around?
