2016 Free Agency Targets

Players like forte and lynch knows that they prefer a decent OL to run behind. They've been in the league for a while now.

 

Berry would be a dream signing. I doubt KC let's him go, but they do have money to tie up elsewhere. Slim chance he walks, but if he hits open market we better be blowing his agents phone up.

Another guy I like is Andre Smith. Bengals drafted 2 OTS 1-2 last year, so they could be willing to move on. Would solidify RT & allows us to not go OT early in the draft.

 

I don't see Robinson getting any top FA most likely a much of solid A.K.A team first players.

FA for us is all about the Oline we need 3 starters and 2 solid backups and we need this fix before the draft.

 

ESPN's Adam Schefter reports impending free agent Jermaine Kearse will not offer the Seahawks a hometown discount.

"I love my hometown, but I've put in too much hard work to give a discount," Kearse said via text message to Schefter. "My number one priority is to take care of my family's future, so I will consider all opportunities." Kearse posted career highs in catches (49), yards (685) and touchdowns (5) while starting all 16 games this season. He ended the season strong with an 11/110/2 line in the Seahawks' Divisional Round loss. With a weak free agent class at receiver, guys like Kearse could get overpaid.

Upgrade over Douglas and Hunter. Some really great work ethic and experience for DGB and MM8

 

I think everyone needs to come to the realization that there is a 0% chance Berry hits FA. If they don't sign him they will franchise him. I think the positions the Titans need to fill (with examples of players I actually think will hit FA) in order of importance are:
1. Tackle -
a. Mitchell Schwartz
b. Joe Barksdale
c. Donald Stephenson
2. Corner
a. Sean Smith
b. Janoris Jenkins
c. Prince Amukamara
3. Center -
a.Stefen Wisniewski
b. Ben Jones
c. Alex Mack (listed last because he isn't officially a FA)

Those would be the 3 "big" signings.

 

Career highs in a contract year and says he's chasing the money. No thanks.

Lynch has had injury issues the past year or two, pass. Forte was hurt this year, but he's been the only guy for a while. Put him in a committee and he'll last longer. He'll make the OL look better by giving MM8 a quick dump off option. I like the idea of bringing him in. I signed him in my Madden franchise when he came available and it's been a great pickup haha.

 

OL, protection protection protection, that's the buzz word. MM to gel with current WRs during the off season. TE has justified his worth. RBs cant give a excuse for a bad season. LT and RT defiantly need to change been appalling all season. Defence has improved this season but the CBs need to be more active and get the turn over quicker.

In keeping with the "seasoned" coaching staff how about some old veterans to bring it in and get things done?

QB - Neil O'Donnel (he's a helluva backup)
RB - Eddie can still go.
WR - Keenan McCardell or Carl Pickens
TE - Frank needs to get out of that booth a while
OL- Kevin Mawae still has gas in that tank
DL - Vanden Bosch is high motor and would be a great fit
LB - Is David Thornton still around? Rocky Boiman? Peter Sirmon?
CB - Samari Rolle was pretty shut down. So was Blaine Bishop
K - Automatic Al Del Greco is clutch.
