We may not have hired Hue Jackson but him saying they wanted a quarterback at 2 (I know he didn't exactly say that) might be a nice consolation prize.

I would love to see them trade back for additional picks. If it worked out for them to end up with an OL and Derrick Henry it could have a huge impact on the offense.

I would hope that we would make a trade with another team picking in the Top 10 this year and we would swap 1st round picks and acquire their 2nd rounder this year, 1st round next year, and either a player that could make immediate impact for us or possibly a 1st following the next year after that. It would definitely be in the same talks and conversations as the RG3 deal. We have the number 1 spot and teams will be trying to jump ahead of Cleveland for whatever QB prospect they covet the most. We're in a great position to trade down and if we can be strategic with this draft and trade potential we could set ourselves up well for years to come already having our franchise quarterback.

Two best options for trading back are #4 Cowobys and #7 49ers.

    With Cowboys:
    #4 overall, 2nd rounder and 2017 2nd rounder

    With 49ers:
    #7 overall, 2nd rounder and 2017 1st rounder

Maybe it scares Cleveland and they will give up their 2nd to switch with us, Even if that happens, then we can trade back again with either of those two teams to grab the 2nd best QB.

Niners have more picks than anyone, they should be willing to move up a bit if they cant land Johnny 8-Ball in FA, for some odd reason Chip Kelly likes Manziel

    #1 for #13, '16 2nd, '16 4th, '17 1st, '17 3rd, & Demarco Murray. (Probably could get more picks?)

I wonder if Philly still wants to move on from Murray. Personally, I think he's still a good RB after his horrible last year.. partly chips fault? Don't know where they stand with him, but we need a RB.

Philly gets Goff, new franchise QB for a new HC. I think everybody has doubts on Bradford & he's a FA.

We pickup a ton of extra picks, which we need bad. At #13 there will still be a ton of options to find a playmaker.

The main reason SF hired Kelly is to try and revive Kaepernick's career. He has looked great at times in the past, and just needs to be in the right situation. So, I can see them trying to acquire Manziel or RGIII in FA, and not even draft a QB.

Dallas will be the wild card for us. Dallas is going to be kicking the tires of Carson Wentz at the Senior Bowl, and they might be enamored with him. The other thing about them is, are they moving on from Romo, and just using him as a placeholder until their new QB can get up to speed? Or are they just looking to back him up with a very capable QB? If it's the latter, they might just try to snag RGIII or Manziel in FA (both will get cut).

However, it's possible that some teams go gaga over Goff and are willing to trade up. If there is ANY chatter in that regard, I can see Cleveland trying to trade to move up and keep other teams from getting ahead of them.

Another option that would be rather shrewd, but smart is...to go ahead and draft Goff, and try to trade him to another team afterward....or at least bluff Cleveland into thinking that is what we plan to do if they don't make a trade.

And what if it backfires and we're stuck with Goff. Not smart. I don't think we're getting a haul and I'm fine with that I'll take just a few extra picks. 2nd and 4th maybe depending on how far down we go.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, teams in recent years hardly ever do RG3 type deals and after that disaster, I doubt we will see another like it for a long, long time.

Plus, I haven't heard of any player this year with the hype that it takes to get a haul like that.

If there's a trade at all it would likely be swapping down a few spots and getting a second or third, maybe a late round pick to go along with it. I just don't see a great trade happening. But to gain picks would be great.
